    • The Architecture of Client Vigilance: Deconstruct the six core systemic client fears (fear of the un-informed clinician, misgendering, clinical judgment, diagnostic pathologization, abrupt referral abandonment, and medical letter gatekeeping) to have a deeper understanding of what clients may carry when walking through your doors.

    • Administrative Sanctuary: Learn to instantly restructure intake paperwork, electronic communications, and digital profiles with identity-celebrating guidelines including preferred names, open gender lines, and proactive pronoun protocols.

    • The Trauma Lens Shift: Evolve your core stance from "What is wrong with you?" to "What happened to you?" when navigating sexual violence, self-blame, and the somatic alarm system of PTSD.

    • The Scope Crossroads: Formulate a clear ethical decision-making tree to identify when to process complex clinical intersections (gender exploration, sex work allyship, or polyamorous dynamics) versus when to execute a supportive, shame-free warm handoff.

    • Linguistic Fluency: Master the precise clinical distinctions across the fluidity spectrum, including Asexuality and Consensual Non-Monogamy (CNM), and trade clinical euphemisms like "down there" for grounded confidence.

    • Professional Stamina: Create a personalized self-care blueprint to protect your own energy tokens and prevent clinical burnout while holding space for heavy client disclosures.

  • Your clinical team’s schedule and energy tokens are valuable. That is why TABOO is engineered to scale across two distinct, flexible delivery formats:

    Option 1: The High-Velocity Masterclass (2-Hour Track)

    • Best For: Busy agency teams, fast-paced internship cohorts, and clinics or university classes with tight professional development slots.

    • The Setup: A high-density, interactive didactic training covering the full 24-slide curriculum. Participants remain in their seats while utilizing targeted reflective writing, multimedia analysis, and a high-impact, live facilitator bag-drop demonstration to track somatic countertransference instantly.

    • The Vibe: Snappy, laser-focused, and exceptionally protective of a team's schedule.

    Option 2: The Experiential Deep-Dive (3.5-Hour Intensive)

    • Best For: Private practice groups, regional conferences, university cohorts, and clinical teams seeking deep, immersive integration.

    • The Setup: An expanded, half-day intensive container. Includes unhurried group attunement circles, an interactive 10-minute somatic break for regulation, and an immersive partner breakout exercise. Colleagues utilize physical asset bags to actively roleplay and process hidden clinical blocks.

    • The Vibe: Spacious, collaborative, and eligible for professional development and clinical skill-building hours.

  • Long before I ever stepped onto the mental health and wellness track, I noticed a quiet pattern. Ever since childhood, I watched as my peers and close friends would visibly struggle or freeze whenever the topics of sex, autonomy, and healthy boundaries came up. We were simply conditioned to look away.

Years later, as my own path evolved from graduate school through pre-licensure and ultimately into my current private practice, that same childhood pattern reappeared on my therapy couch. I sit with so many clients today who report that when they bravely tried to discuss intimacy with their previous therapists, those professionals visibly froze, started fidgeting or stuttering, or completely ignored the disclosure to skip to a more comfortable topic. Some were even met with direct, negative clinical judgment.

I designed this curriculum to break that cycle. So many of us start our careers feeling underprepared to discuss sex, but hiding behind a rigid expert mask only harms the people we serve. Remind yourself that being an expert simply means knowing how to find the answers, not having them memorized. When we choose to embrace a growth mindset and approach our clinical gaps with genuine curiosity rather than judgment, we stay adaptable and release the exhausting pressure to overperform.

My goal for our time together isn't to erase every ounce of clinical uncertainty, as that is impossible. Instead, this training container is built to empower you to stay present in the room. I want you to leave this workshop with the somatic stamina to lean directly into the topic rather than stopping the conversation before it even starts. You will walk away with a grounded framework to navigate intimacy safely, paired with a personalized roadmap of areas to explore deeper in the coming year.

TABOO 1: Let's Talk About Sex Workshop for Clinicians at EOnWellness Therapy

Let's Stop Glancing Away.

Learn to navigate sex, pleasure, and alternative relationship dynamics with unshakeable clinical stamina.

The Collective Problem

Graduate school education often teaches us to treat intimacy like an academic footnote. We learn the textbook theories and study the DSM, but we are rarely taught how to navigate our own internal nervous system responses when complex sexual themes arise in session.

When a client looks us in the eye and brings up sex, pleasure, an alternative lifestyle, or an inability to reach orgasm, a lot of us instantly freeze. Our hearts beat a little faster, and our brains go into overdrive trying to find a rigid manual that was never handed to us. Or, we awkwardly redirect the conversation back to standard anxiety or depression.

If you have ever felt that micro-freeze or felt structurally unsteady, you are not failing. This technical void creates a massive wave of clinical performance anxiety, making us worry that because we are not certified sex therapists, we are not allowed to let the client speak. You are simply moving through a legacy of systemic clinical conditioning that pathologized pleasure and turned intimacy into a taboo.

The Invitation

TABOO 1: Let's Talk About Sex is a completely judgment-free, interactive training workshop designed to help psychotherapists, social workers, psychologists, interns/associates, students, and professional coaches drop the expert mask and build real, somatic comfort.

This isn't a stiff academic lecture or a passive textbook presentation. This is an unconditionally safe, conversational, person-centered mirror. It demands that we step away from traditional clinical distance to face personal, cultural, and religious walls. By decoding exactly why clinical systems feel uncomfortable sitting with intense intimacy topics, this training dismantles the systemic gaps that cause us to look away, helping you find your true clinical authority.
