    • Reframing the Sanctuary: Clearly distinguish between sex-positive and sex-negative clinical stances. Learn to reframe language to be entirely inclusive and cultivate a structurally supportive, sex-worker-affirming practice.

    • Decoding the Field (The Scope & Role Breakdown): Understand the boundary lines between the core roles in sexual wellness. Learn exactly what a Sex Educator, a Sexologist, a Sex Coach, and a Sexuality Counselor do, versus how a Licensed Therapist utilizing talk therapy and psychotherapy treats deeper issues like trauma and clinical dysfunctions.

    • The Therapy Room Echo: Demystify how personal countertransference manifests when discussing intimacy. Gain clear, actionable protocols to navigate, and ground intense erotic transference when a client projects desire directly onto you.

    • The Clinical Landscape (Navigating Common Presentations): Gain an accessible, non-intimidating overview of what talk therapy can safely address in a standard practice setting. I look closely at low libido, erectile challenges, performance anxiety, and difficulty reaching orgasm (Anorgasmia).

    • The Trauma & Pain Blueprint: Learn the clinical entry points for holding space when clients share stories of sexual self-esteem issues, addictive pornography use, or physiological pain during intercourse, including vaginismus and dyspareunia (Genito-Pelvic Pain/Penetration Disorder-GPPPD).

    • The Scope Crossroads: Learn the precise ethical markers that tell you when to safely process a sexual health matter under a trauma-informed lens using evidence-based cognitive, behavioral, or mindfulness techniques, versus when and how to coordinate a smooth, shame-free warm handoff to a certified sex therapist.

  • Your clinical team’s schedule and energy tokens are valuable. That is why TABOO 2 is engineered to scale across three distinct, flexible delivery formats:

    Option 1: The High-Velocity Briefing (60-Minute Menu)

    • Best For: Fast-paced agency daytime slots, busy non-profit staff meetings, and clinics or university classes with tight professional development blocks.

    • The Setup: A streamlined, high-density overview focusing heavily on Reframing Language, the core role differences (Educator vs. Therapist), the common presentations, and the Safe Referral decision tree. Includes an unhurried 10-minute anonymous Q&A block at the end.

    • The Vibe: Snappy, laser-focused, and exceptionally protective of a team's schedule.

Option 2: The Interactive Masterclass (90-Minute Menu)

    • Best For: Internship cohorts, group practices, and agencies looking for active clinical skill-building.

    • The Setup: Expands the curriculum to include Transference Management. Features an integrated live case-study analysis evaluating boundary and intimacy intersections across different relational structures using the accessible Tea Consent model.

    • The Vibe: Engaging, collaborative, and beautifully balanced with peer-to-peer discussion loops.

Option 3: The Experiential Intensive (Half-Day Container)

    • Best For: Private practice collectives, regional clinical networks, university cohorts, and teams seeking deep, immersive integration.

    • The Setup: The complete, unhurried Sex Psych 101 container. Includes a dedicated 10-minute somatic buffer break for regulation, extended large-group case processing loops for treating sexual trauma safely (including processing past trauma's impact on arousal), and an interactive partner breakout workspace where colleagues actively practice the PLISSIT & Ex-PLISSIT models and sensate focus concepts using provided script sheets.

    • The Vibe: Spacious, deeply collaborative, and protective of a team's collective energy tokens

  • Long before I ever stepped onto the mental health and wellness track, I noticed a quiet pattern. Ever since childhood, I watched as my peers and close friends would visibly struggle or freeze whenever the topics of sex, autonomy, and healthy boundaries came up. We were simply conditioned to look away.

Years later, as my own path evolved from graduate school through pre-licensure and ultimately into my current private practice, that same childhood pattern reappeared on my therapy couch. I sit with so many clients today who report that when they bravely tried to discuss intimacy with their previous therapists, those professionals visibly froze, started fidgeting or stuttering, or completely ignored the disclosure to skip to a more comfortable topic. Some were even met with direct, negative clinical judgment.

I designed this curriculum to break that cycle. So many of us start our careers feeling underprepared to discuss sex, but hiding behind a rigid expert mask only harms the people we serve. Remind yourself that being an expert simply means knowing how to find the answers, not having them memorized. When we choose to embrace a growth mindset and approach our clinical gaps with genuine curiosity rather than judgment, we stay adaptable and release the exhausting pressure to overperform.

My goal for our time together isn't to erase every ounce of clinical uncertainty, as that is impossible. Instead, this training container is built to empower you to stay present in the room. I want your clinicians to leave this workshop with the structural stamina to lean directly into the topic rather than stopping the conversation before it even starts. Your team will walk away with a grounded framework to navigate intimacy safely, paired with a personalized roadmap of areas to explore deeper in the coming year.

TABOO 2: Free Your Mind Workshop for Clinicians at EOnWellness Therapy

Let's Pull Back the Curtain.

An introductory, peer-to-peer educational overview exploring standard relationship presentations, role boundaries, and talk therapy conversations surrounding intimacy in daily practice.

The Collective Problem

Once the expert mask is off and we have faced personal walls, a second hurdle appears: how do we actually structure the conversation seamlessly? Graduate school teaches us the textbooks. We memorize the diagnostic manuals and study traditional relational loops. But when a client sits on our couch and details a sexual dysfunction, an inability to reach orgasm, an intimacy gap with their partner, or a history of deeply rooted sexual pain, clinical brains instantly go into overdrive trying to find a clinical manual that was never handed to us.

This technical void creates a massive wave of performance anxiety. We worry that because we are not certified sex therapists, we are not allowed to even let the client speak. We experience a quiet freeze, struggling to differentiate between the roles in our field (like sex coaches, educators, sexologists, and therapists) and panicking over how to stay within our ethical scope. If you have ever felt under-educated, structurally unsteady, or hesitant when a client brings intimacy into the room, you are not failing. You are simply moving through a systemic training gap.
