A Sanctuary Where You Can Finally Just Be You

I am so glad you stumbled upon my little corner of the world.

Welcome to my sanctuary for healing and growth.

You know, I've always naturally been that trusted confidant in life who sits back, listens to everyone stories, and provides a comforting shoulder to lean on. For as long as I can remember, people have instinctively trusted me with their deepest, most vulnerable secrets because they knew their heart was completely safe in my hands. It truly reflected my core spirit, I've cared deeply about understanding, nurturing, and supporting others exactly as they are.

I'm right here to offer you that exact same safe, unbreakable space for your story today. I provide a compassionate, collaborative relationship where you never have to filter your reality or justify your choices. Our session together is a welcoming time designed to help your nervous system finally settle, a gentle space where you can finally take off your heavy armor, put down the performance, and just breathe.

  • Hi, I’m Eboniña.

Many of us start out on a path that feels totally right, only for life to pull us in a completely different direction. For a long time, I actually thought I’d follow in my dad’s medical footsteps and become a pediatrician. But as it turns out, we were both ultimately drawn to the world of mental health. While my dad shifted his focus to neuropsychology and addiction, I found my true, permanent home in psychotherapy. I traded the stethoscope for a deeper kind of healing—one that honors the whole person and centers around the natural connection between your mind, your body, and your entire being.

    Growing Up Without Taboos

My journey to becoming an unconditionally affirming therapist started with a pretty unique upbringing. I was raised by a free-spirited, hippie, nudist mom who embraced her body, her boundaries, and her sexuality with absolutely zero shame. Because of the open, age-appropriate conversations we had, I grew up viewing human bodies and personal autonomy as just regular, everyday parts of life—as casual as talking about the weather.

This gave me a lot of comfort in my own skin. In fact, by the time I was six, I brought that exact same ease to the school playground. While other kids were panicked about catching "cooties" from holding hands, I became the resident myth-buster. Thanks to my conversations with my mom, I’d hand out honest answers without an ounce of awkwardness. To my six-year-old mind, these were just normal topics everyone should talk about freely!

It was a massive shock as I got older and realized my experience was the total exception to the rule. Seeing the rest of the world get so tense, uncomfortable, or secretive around universal human experiences like pleasure, bodies, and gender felt completely backwards to me. But instead of making me shrink back, that realization gave me a fierce drive to help others dismantle those exact same taboos.

    The Lightbulb Moment

Psychology was always buzzing in the background of my life. Growing up, I used to read my mom’s psychology books and check out extra ones from the library just for fun. By the time I was an undergrad at Arizona State University, I was taking psychology class after psychology class. I even got special permission to take graduate-level courses, simply because I found human behavior so fascinating. Still, it never clicked that I could actually do this for a living.

That all changed one afternoon. I stayed after class to talk to Dr. Kathryn Lemery-Chalfant—the professor who had been signing off on my advanced coursework. At the time, I was feeling totally conflicted, confused, and stuck at a major crossroads. I knew my pre-med major wasn't right for me anymore, but I had no clue what to do next.

She looked at me and gently pointed out the obvious: "You're clearly incredibly passionate about this work. Why not make a career out of it?" I don't think I've ever had a massive "Ah-ha!" moment and a total Homer Simpson "D’oh!" realization happen at the exact same time. Right after that talk, I officially changed my major to psychology. I realized my comfort with the human mind wasn't just a hobby—it was my true calling.

    • The Intersection of Identity: I weave together my own lived experiences as a neurodivergent, LGBTQIA+ identifying therapist and sex educator navigating the complex vulnerabilities of this world.

    • The Mission: I channel this intersection into a fierce drive to hold space for, advocate for, and empower others who are moving through a world not necessarily built with them in mind.

    • No Translation Required: I know firsthand how exhausting it is to constantly translate your existence, your vocabulary, or your symptoms to professionals who do not understand your world. You will not have to explain the basics of your identity or your health to me.

    • My Ultimate Promise: My practice is truly an unconditional no masking zone, a protected sanctuary where you do not have to perform neurotypicality, force eye contact, or act "normal" to be deemed safe, valued, or worthy of deep, transformative care.

A Sanctuary Where You Are Celebrated

You spend your days out in a rigid world managing your energy and shielding yourself from incoming judgment. In our sessions, that weight gets to drop. I have built this space specifically to uplift communities who are too often dismissed:

    1. Neurodivergent Advocacy

      • Providing a space where your natural traits, hyperfocus, and pacing are treated as absolute assets. If you need to doodle, use sensory toys, or move during our sessions, your natural rhythm is fully welcomed.

    2. Sex Worker and Kink Aligned Positive Care

      • Offering an absolute judgment free, discretion first vault where your privacy and livelihood are radically respected. Whether you work in full service, digital content creation, nightlife, or an alternative dynamic community, your autonomy is honored.

    3. Trauma Informed Chronic Illness Pacing

      • As someone who intimately understands the heavy, invisible toll of complex chronic illness, I completely validate your physical boundaries. Your symptoms are believed completely, and we prioritize managing your energy and goals over any clinical pushing.

    Your Whole Self Is Welcome

You do not have to hide your true colors, filter your relationship structure, or mask your fatigue to step into your session. You are seen, you are safe, and you are celebrated exactly as you are today. If you need a space where you can finally stop bracing for judgment and start reclaiming your narrative… let’s talk.

  • I don’t just nod along. I dive deep with you to ensure you aren't just heard, but truly and deeply understood at a core level.

    • The Partnership: I step completely away from the rigid "expert-and-patient" dynamic.

    • The Vibe: Our time together feels like having a warm, grounded conversation with a trusted confidant, but one who holds the specialized clinical expertise to help you safely navigate the deeper nuances of your life.

    • The Focus: Your unique identity, your personal history, and your specific nervous system capacity are the absolute center of everything we do.

A Gentle Reminder: You do not have to filter your vocabulary, mask your exhaustion, or organize your thoughts before you speak here. Your raw, messy, and entirely authentic reality is met with absolute belief and zero judgment.

    The Foundation of Our Work

I draw from a rich, whole-person framework to ensure your therapeutic experience is deeply personalized to your everyday life:

    1. Person Centered Care

      • Your Voice Leads: Your perspective, your intuition, and your comfort are always at the absolute forefront of our sessions. I offer a warm, judgment free zone where we focus intimately on your personal experience of the world, honoring your timeline without any external pressure.

    2. A Deeply Holistic Perspective

      • The Whole Picture: I see you as an interconnected ecosystem, where your mind, your body, and your entire being are deeply woven together. We look at the complete picture of your life, including your social circles, your physical environment, and your physical health status, to understand the deeper, somatic roots of your lived experience.

    3. An Integrative Approach

      • A Tailored Path: Think of me as having a supportive approach full of diverse options. I thoughtfully mix tried and true, evidence based clinical methods with fresh, somatic techniques, tailoring our strategy to perfectly fit your specific path toward reclaiming your narrative.

    Finding Your Natural Rhythm

Healing is not a straight line, it is a process of discovering an organic flow that works to support your unique neurotype and body. I am right here to walk securely beside you in that process, helping you master the sacred art of no, safely untangle years of self doubt, and find your way back to a true sense of daily ease.

If you need a space where you can feel safe in expressing what is on your mind and heart so we can uncover and celebrate your authentic self together… let’s talk.

What is a Book That Shaped Who I am Today?

How Babies Are Made-By Andrew C. Andry and Steven Schepp

I still look back fondly on the meaningful and age-appropriate conversations this book inspired between my mum and me. She was ahead of her time—always open and entirely without shame when it came to discussing sex, sexuality, and the human body. Because of her, our home was a place where curiosity wasn’t just accepted; it was celebrated.

I remember feeling so empowered by this knowledge that I became a bit of an unofficial "expert" on the playground, sharing my "wisdom" with anyone who would listen. Those early talks with my mum taught me that when we remove the weight of shame, we create space for true understanding. It’s a lesson I carry into my work today: that talking about our bodies and our desires can be a natural, grounded, and even celebratory part of being human.

What is My Favorite Houseplant?

The Peace Lily

Is it me? Am I the drama? I don’t think I’m the drama. – Scarlett Envy

I have a soft spot for Peace Lilies; they are truly the sassy divas of my home. I love their "drama queen" act—they drastically droop the moment they’re thirsty, as if the world is ending. But with a simple splash of water and a little attention, they perk right back up.

To me, they feel like a living metaphor for our own body’s needs. They don't apologize for their "drama"; they just let me know exactly when they need to be replenished. It’s a gentle, slightly hilarious nudge to pay attention to my own rhythms and self-care, too. There’s something deeply comforting about a plant that isn't afraid to show when it needs a little supportive cushion to thrive again.

What Do You Dislike That Others Seem to Enjoy?

Roses & Chocolate

Lean a little bit closer, see / Roses really smell like poo-poo...– Outkast

While the world swoons over roses, I’ve always found them a bit, well, basic. They’re fine, of course, but in a world of a hundred thousand blooms, I’d much rather go on a "floral safari." I’m drawn to the dazzling Roselily Anouska, vibrant Stargazer Lilies, or those cheery Sunflowers—blooms that have their own unique story and character. I even get a chuckle out of the myth behind the Narcissus flower; gifting it is quite funny, as long as you aren’t the one receiving it!

And then there’s chocolate. I’ve never been a fan! I like to joke that I’m already chocolate-dipped from head to toe, thanks to my melanin, so my system just can't handle any more. But white chocolate? I’m a fan, even if the purists say it isn’t "real" chocolate.

I think it’s a good reminder that we don’t have to follow the "shoulds" of what everyone else likes. What about you—do you have any aversions that might raise an eyebrow or two?

What is Your Sign?

Libra-Scorpio Cusp/Horse

I know people have all sorts of opinions on astrology, but I’ve always found it to be a fascinating lens for self-reflection. Being born on the cusp, I see it as a bit of a mosaic—some traits feel like a perfect reflection of my roots, while others feel like they belong to a different story entirely.

I enjoy diving into my horoscope every now and then; not as a rigid map, but as a way to quiet the outside noise and see how certain themes might line up with my day-to-day reality. It’s a gentle tool for curiosity and a reminder that there are many different ways to understand the rhythm of who we are.
